Renaissance Dance (2010) for classical guitar

Renaissance Dance is a reworking of a piece I composed back in 1996 for chorus and guitar. The original title was, Have Mercy on Me. This was the first piece I composed that used the guitar in some way. I have always been fond of the piece and so I decided to arrange it for solo classical guitar. This piece is dance-like but is not composed in a strict (is there?) Renaissance style. It is modal in certain spots and it has a dance feel to it so I decided to call it, Renaissance Dance.
